MARK GRIFFON | Mustang Talk Podcast
Mr. Griffon graduated from Friendswood HS in 1978 and then earned a BS in Biology and a Masters in Administration and Supervision both from Texas Tech University. Mr. Griffon received a Mid-Management Certification from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. He holds a Superintendent Certification from Texas Southern University. Mr Griffon taught science for 14 years at Friendswood HS and was also the Head Basketball coach for 11 years.

He joined the administrative team at Friendswood HS in 2000 as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Griffon was the Associate Principal at FHS for one year and then the Executive Director of Administrative Operations for the district for one year before returning to Friendswood HS as the Principal.

NANCY LOCKHART 
Mrs. Lockhart has her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education 6^th-12^th grades from the University of New Orleans and earned her Masters of Science in Educational Leadership and Principal Certification from the University of Houston. She taught middle school and high school mathematics in Louisiana and was also responsible for the remediation of at risk students. Mrs. Lockhart and her husband moved to Friendswood in 1996. She taught at FHS, in the math department, for seven years then joined the administrative team as an Assistant Principal. In 2007, she moved to Clear Lake High School to be the Dean of Instruction for one year before returning to Friendswood ISD as the Director of Student Success. Mrs. Lockhart has three children all whom have attended Friendswood schools. She is now our FHS Dean of Instruction

Student Success Coordinator

ASHLEY BIRMINGHAM 
Ashley Birmingham has her Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Social Studies from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. She has been employed in FISD for 13 years and was active on the FHS campus from the start, coaching UIL  Academics, Academic Decathlon, Academic Octathlon, and participating in the FISD Future Learning Leaders Academy.  Mrs. Birmingham led the Social Studies Department as Team Leader before moving to the role of Assistant Principal, where she had the privilege of working with the Social Studies Department. She is now our FHS Student Success Coordinator.

Melissa Sauceda (Alpha Group El –K)
Melissa brings 19 years of educational experience. She has achieved her Master’s degree in Educational Administration at Lamar University, as well as her Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Spanish from Sam Houston State University. Prior to her time in Friendswood ISD, Melissa served in La Porte ISD as a PLTW teacher and head girls soccer coach, and in Clear Creek and Dickinson ISDs, where she held both teaching and coaching roles. Melissa has also served as a CTE teacher in the PLTW (Project Lead The Way) engineering program at FHS before being promoted to Assistant Principal. Her career reflects a deep commitment to student growth, innovation in instruction, and leadership in both academic and extracurricular programs.

FRED CAPPADONA (Alpha Group Ri-Z)
Mr. Cappadona has a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters in Agricultural Education from Southwest Texas State University.  He also has a second Masters Degree in Principal Education from UHCL.  He taught in Pearland for five years before joining the FJH family in 2002 and the FHS family in 2008.  He spent a year in Barbers Hill ISD as an Administrator and a few years in the insurance industry.  Fred and his wife Teri have been married for 28 years and have three children.
