Scholarships

Scholarships are named in memory of Myrlene Kennedy, Bette Hopper, Eunice Kennedy, Gailya Harris, Janie Straughn, Trombatore/Powdrell Family, Smith-Bockart Family, and Jeff Howison.


The Friendswood High School Musical has presented scholarship opportunities to its graduating cast, crew and pit band members over the last 52 years. With the establishment of the Bette Hopper Scholarship in 1979, over 400 students have been awarded educational scholarships.

Participation must be in Friendswood High School musicals.
